Stunning Amboyna Work Table
Antique Victorian Amboyna work / sewing table of very good quality. Bookmatched Amboyna veneer with stringing inlay to the top. Beautifully fitted drawer and a sliding storage compartment below, supported by turned and carved carved solid walnut columns raised on shaped cabriole legs with scroll feet united by a turned stretcher.
It measures 555mm wide x 395mm deep x 730mm high.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
