William IV Mahogany Extending Dining Table Circa 1835
Beautiful William IV Mahogany extending dining table. Circa 1835.
Each end has a handsome apron and four turned legs with original brass castors, these support the large Mahogany leaf to the centre, it has a brass locking system.
We love how this table is usable in three different ways. You can use the the two ends as console tables , use it fully extended which then seats eight or ten at a squeeze. This very versatile table also makes a centre /dining table when used joined without the leaf.
It measures 1810mm long x 1250mm x 730mm high. The ends when standing alone measure 1250mm wide x 600mm deep x 730mm high.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
