Victorian Oak Hall Chair

Victorian Oak hall chair with the most interesting carved back. It shows a Dragon in battle with a serpent. Often these pieces were made as custom orders for the family, so perhaps the original owners had a coat of arms with this emblem on it.

It measures 400mm wide x 365mm deep x 1025mm high. The seat height is 460mm.

The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.

When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
