Regency Rosewood Card Table

Exquisite Regency Rosewood card table. Circa 1830. Column pedestal with the most wonderfully carved paw feet. The Rosewood grain to the top shows why Rosewood is such a prized timber for cabinet making. Rosewood is rightly protected now so we have to treasure and look after these old pieces. The top swivels and folds out to reveal a hidden section for cards & game pieces. One side is felted.There are a couple of small veneer replacements to the side & base but in excellent condition.

It measures 912mm x 449mm and is 739mm high. Open it is 900mm x 912mm.

The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.

When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
