Pair of Victorian, Rosewood chairs. 19th C. Oval button backs and beautifully carved top rail and seat skirt. They are not exactly the same, with the carving being different and a very small difference in height. Upholstered in a lovely stripe. There is an old restoration to a back join as shown in the photo and one small mark to the upholstery.
They measure 480mm wide x 445mm deep x 975mm high. The seat height is 445mm.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
