Pair of Victorian Black Lacquer Chairs

Stunning pair of Victorian chairs. Circa 1870.

Black lacquer with mother of pearl inlays and rattan seats. They are not everyday dining chairs as they are quite fine, but perfect for occasional use and make beautiful feature chairs.

They have some very small losses to the inlay. They measure 395mm wide x 385mm and are 790mm high.

The seat height is 420mm.

The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.

When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
