Pair of Mid Victorian Bedroom Chairs
Very lovely pair of mid Victorian bedroom chairs. We are always on the lookout for these as they are just so striking and make fantastic feature chairs.
Black lacquer with mother of pearl inlays and rattan seats. They are not everyday dining chairs as they are quite fine, but perfect for occasional use.
They have some old repairs and small losses to the inlay as shown. They measure 395mm wide x 385mm and are 790mm high. The seat height is 420mm.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
