Late Victorian Oak monks bench. Circa 1890. These are great for a hallway or entrance, storage of shoes and sitting on to put your shoes on. It converts to a table. Beautiful deep carving.
As a table it measures 1065mm wide x 525mm deep x 780mm high.
As a seat it measures 1000mm high (to top of back) and the seat height is 440mm.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
