Late 19th Century Cast Iron Safe Made By Thomas Hudson Of Manchester

$980.00

A late 19th Century, cast iron safe made by Thomas Hudson of Manchester. Incredibly heavy cast iron with brass fittings and labels to the front. The inside has a large open section with two drawers below. The drawers have gorgeous simulated timber paint.

Working lock & key. It measures 480mm wide x 450mm deep x 710mm high.

The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.

When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.

If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
