A late 19th Century, cast iron safe made by S Griffiths & Sons of Wolverhampton. Incredibly heavy cast iron with brass fittings and fab label to the inside of the door. The inside has a large open section with a drawer below. Deep green in colour.
Working lock & key. It measures 430mm wide x 405mm deep x 605mm high.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
