Georgian Mahogany chest of drawers /secretaire. The patina and colour are absolutely perfect.
The top drawer opens to reveal a leather covered writing slope and partitions for stationary. The handles are not original but some of the nicest brass ones we have had, they are antique and feature the feathers of the Prince of Wales. They are raised on nicely shaped bracket feet.
They have lots of signs of age and small historical restorations. The drawers all slide well.
It measures 925mm wide x 460mm deep x 895mm high.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
