Georgian Elm Dining Chairs. c1780. Very hard to come by a set of six of these chairs. They are wonderfully rustic and in original condition with slight movement in some of the joints but very sturdy to sit on. They come with some optional seat pads which have been made for them at some point. One of the chairs has an old iron brace repair to one of the legs, it is very strong.
They measure 925mm high, the seat height is 440mm, depth is 325mm and the front of the seat width is 475mm
(They vary very slightly in seat height as some have worn down from use. )
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
