English 18th Century Livery/House Keepers Cupboard
English, 18th Century Livery / House keepers cupboard. An excellent piece for keeping Linen.
Early to mid 1700’s, made of beautiful old Oak with moulded cornice, paneled doors & lower section. Originally it had pegs to the rear for hanging and was a full length interior.
We have fitted it with shelves to the top and a liftable folding shelf to the bottom section where larger quilts etc can be stored.
Plenty of signs of age and patina, with old wood worm holes (worms long gone). This is something that you want to see in a piece of this age. It is strong and sturdy.
It measures 1210mm wide x 530mm deep x 1780mm high.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
