Antique Pine Military trunk. Early 1900’s, with later insignia for the Staffordshire Regiment, which was formed in 1959. It shows the Prince of Wales feathers, a Stafford rope knot & crown with the moto Ich Dien (I serve). It is lined with metal and has good strong hinges.
Measures 850mm x 600mm x 380mm high.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
