We love this antique trunk. Solid timber with great painted lettering. “Shakespeare Upper” to the top and Brumby Boys School and emblem to the front. The inside is lined with late 19th C newspaper & wallpaper. It is very rustic but still strong and ready for use.
It measures 790mm wide x 500mm deep x 460mm high.
The colour may be slightly different depending on your screen. All of our furniture is Antique or Vintage and has patina.
When we restore pieces we never take them back to raw as this lessens the integrity of a piece. Patina is the build up of little marks and scratches over the many years of the life of an antique, these give it a lovely warm overall appearance.
If there are any major marks or defects we will always point them out either in the description and or photos. If you need more photos just let us know. Inspections welcome. Pop into our shop.
